As well as the big name Enduro mountain bike series running around the country, regional grassroots Enduro races, like the Davagh Enduro are a great way of getting into the sport. Run on the Davagh Forest trails in Tyrone, riders can take their time between stages, and go as fast as possible on five timed stages.
At the Davagh Enduro this year, junior riders Hannah Mullin and Darcey Harkness took first and second place with Claire Lancashire rounding up the podium. A great sign for the future of mountain biking with these speedy juniors, and a good turnout for women enduro riders.
