On Satruday 11th July the Track Commission will be coinciding the launch of the newly renovated track with the very popular International Track Meet. This year we are fortunate to have two Dutch women’s teams attending the competition, and we are encouraging all the Irish girls to come out and race – how great it will be to have a huge field of women racing on the track!!!! Ev7 Tandem – sprint final & semi final
Ev8 Elite – Sprint (heats will be drawn randomly)
Ev9 Women’s – sprint final & semi final
Ev10 Tandem – 2km dash
Ev11 Elite – Sprint final and semi finals
Ev 12 Women’s – 12 lap points (points every 3 laps – 5 3 2 1pts)
Ev 13 Tandem – 12 lap points (points every 3 laps – 5 3 2 1 pts)
Ev 14 Elite – 12 lap (win & out laps – 6 9 12)
Ev 15 Women’s 1km dash
Ev 16 Tandem – 3km pursuit
Ev 17 Women’s 6km scratch
Ev 18 Elite wheel 10km scratch
This International meet will be run by the track commission of Ireland in conjuction with Cycling Ireland.
This program is subject to change and will be run on as an omnium. Events 17 & 18 will not be part of the omnium. All Sprints are the best of one heat.
