Meningitis Big Pedal

Another great one if anyone wants a long one is the tour de munster.Held every year taking in every county in munster…600km over 4days!i’ve done it 3 times and it’s fantastic event..would recommend it to anyone thinking of doing charity cycles. check out http://www.tourdemunster.com for more details.
A great 2 day one is the border trek: a return journey going from eniskillen to sligo.100 miles on the saturday and 100 on the sunday.I think if you look up cooperation Ireland on google you should be able to get details of it.
Both of these would be a bit costly compared to the one day events cause you have to factor in food and accommodation….still they’re a great challenge and fierce social.

the croi and the ring of kerry are both great too….fantastic scenery on both and the ring of kerry…i’ve never seen food like it at any other event!and all manned by volunteers…it’s unbelieveable the amount of effort that’s put in by the locals
