The team of Jill Leonard and Adrian O’Connor have recently moved back to Ireland, and brought with them the expertise, gadgets, and artistic eye! Due to lack of coverage at the weekend – the reports from the last four stages of An Post Rás na mBan are all below in reverse sequence. A huge congratulations must go to race organisers Valerie Considine and Louis Moriarty (Sneem Hotel), who put so much work into making this event a success. The sponsorship from An Post made a big difference to the event on many levels also, and the super racing from all the riders ensured it was a super event! Cycling Ulster entered a 9 woman strong team in Rás na mBan, which boosted the strength in domestic numbers, standard and atmosphere in Sneem. Unfortunately on Stage one Caroline Patterson, one of their strongest riders, was involved in a crash. We wish her the very best in her recovery, and see here for the report from Cycling Ulster.
