Check out our latest link, to a blog by Jenny Fay, one of Ireland’s top road racers. Fay is now based in Australia, and has switched her focus to off-road which is proving equally successful. The marathon season is just kicking off, and Fay is starting in good form, having just finished with a fine 4th place in the XC in the Australian National Championships, and 2nd in the short course National Championships. In treacherous and rainsoaked conditions, Cait Elliott (UCD) rode a storming race to get 3rd in the UCI ranked British National Series race in Margam Park at the weekend, a great result in difficult conditions.  And if that wasn’t enough, she went on to take 2nd in the longer half-marathon race the next day!  Cait reports: (more…)
