The Women’s Commission of Cycling Ireland will be holding a fully coached training weekend on the weekend of 21-22 March, for women and girls of all ages, standards, and disciplines.

The next couple of weeks will see two seperate training camps held in Craigavon in Ulster. The first camp will be for women of all ages and disciplines, this Saturday 24th Jan. More info HERE . The Womens Commission held a Training Day at Avon Ri in Blessington yesterday. The focus of the day was on examining the importance of power to weight in performance, and how to optimise this through strength training and reaching optimum weight. (more…)

Last weekend a group of over 21 headed to the Indoor cycling track in Almaar, Holland. The group picked up many new skills from local coach, Herman Schenk, who dedicated 4 hours of training to the Irish girls. NEW PHOTOS ADDED….. (more…)

In conjunction with the Senior event a 2 day Underage event is being held in Sneem. The first stage was a 2 mile Time Trial using the same course as the Seniors. (more…)
