Cycling Ulster entered a 9 woman strong team in Rás na mBan, which boosted the strength in domestic numbers, standard and atmosphere in Sneem. Unfortunately on Stage one Caroline Patterson, one of their strongest riders, was involved in a crash. We wish her the very best in her recovery, and see here for the report from Cycling Ulster.

At the Madigan GP on Saturday 7th August, the final round of the Martin Birney sponsored SportActive Ulster Women’s League was won by Ciara McManus (U/A) who came in 15″ ahead of Ciara Mulholland (Clann Eireann), with Geraldine Gill (Bohermeen CC) taking third. (more…)
