Bike to work are an independent Irish company set up to assist companies implement the bike to work scheme without any administration problems.
We offer companies a simple, straight forward system to provide tax free bikes to employees. We offer a choice of almost 1000 different bikes, from all the top brands, supplied from almost 40 different independent bike shops throughout the country. The number of participating shops is growing daily and the full list can be found on our website:
http://www.biketowork.ie/site/employee-information/find-a-shop/
Through these shops we can provide employees an unlimited choice of bikes and equipment from all the top brands. Employees can make significant savings on the purchase of a bike and safety accessories of up to 47% through the scheme.
Our service is open to employers of all sizes and we will take care of everything for them: provide administration services, advertising literature, purchase agreements, bike and accessories, and the advice. The best bit is it won’t cost your employer a thing, the service is totally free to employers. By offering this service we believe companies will be more likely to participate in the scheme and offer their employees tax free bikes.
There are 7 simple steps to providing new bikes:
- Your company signs up for the scheme.
- Employees visit their local participating bicycle shop to choose their bike and obtain a written quote.
- They return this quotation to their HR dept who request a voucher from Bike to Work.
- Bike to Work will invoice the company for the bike package.
- Employee completes and signs the supplied Purchase Agreement and returns it to your HR person.
- Once payment is made for the bike package by the company the employee collects their secure voucher from the HR dept.
- The voucher is redeemed at the bike shop and the employee collects their goods.
It’s as simple as that - further details on the scheme and the services Bike to Work offer are available on www.biketowork.ie
