There will be an Ulster based training camp in Craigavon on Saturday 24th January. This will be open to all women regardless of ability, age and discipline. Read on for an outline of the Agenda.

Women’s cycling is a fun, enjoyable and growing sport in Ireland, whether you are interested in cycling for Leisure, Competitions, Road cycling, Track cycling, Mountain biking or simply just want to get fit! This day will be the ideal introduction to cycling for you.

Time 10 am to 2.30 pm

Venue: Craigavon Watersports Centre

Cost: £10 for Cycling Ireland/Cycling Ulster Members, £20 for non-members.

What you need to bring

Bike with two working brakes – safety helmet – comfortable leisure / cycling gear

10am registration Tea – Coffee

10.30 Safe cycling and Cycling skills

11.am Cycle on the road / cycle track or cross country track for mountain bikers

12pm Change Tea /coffee

1pm What next. Womens Cycling in Ireland, 2009 programme, current activities – contacts and distribution of positive cycling booklets
