Bates Wins Intermediate Lge Rd 2 (Deenside Cup)

Jennifer Bates sprinted home ahead of a 10 woman breakaway to take Round 2 of the Intermediate League , and the Overall Leaders Jersey (April 29).

The Deenside Cup proved to be another great success for the Intermediate League with over 30 Women taking to the start

The 70km event was held over a testing two lap circuit , each lap included a 6km climb often used in Rás na mBan.

A big thank you to the local club (Deenside Wheelers) for hosting a fantastic event , and for their continued support to Women’s Cycling.
