Autumn Collins smashes Junior 500m record


Competing in round two of British Cyclings National Women’s Omnium series in Newport Irish Junior, Autumn Collins, broke her own National 500m record. Recording a time of 40.32 seconds, Autumn who rides for the London-based Cadence Performance Cycling Team,  beat the previous record of 40.95 seconds that she had set exactly one year ago.

Autumn’s time was good enough for 1st Junior and 9th position in the 500m which had a star studded field of Commonwealth Games and World Masters Champions.

With 10th in the Keirin and 9th in the concluding scratch race Autumn ran out 11th overall finishing one place behind World Masters Champion Nikki Kovacs.
